Vintage 2015

There was no holding the buds back, they started to break on April 19th.  There was some concern of frost nipping them but it didn't happen.  The weather forecast is for mixed cloudy weather through the end of the month so it's likely we've seen the end of the frost this spring.  This gets the clock started on the vintage and sets up for ripening to happen in  all of September.

We made it to May 12th without frost damage.  This is the second one of the early markers for a successful vintage.  The next marker is flowering, looking for fair weather in last part of June.

Flower is in full swing, June 16th.  Weather has been sunny and hot, cooler today, worried about timing up the spray for PM, don't want to do it in mid-flower.

Fruit set is very good, flowering is about done, spraying for PM prevention now. June 22.
